Thomas Exchange UK Ltd – Data Breach October 2025

Thomas Exchange UK Ltd takes the privacy and security of our customers’ personal information very seriously. We are posting this information to inform you of a recent data security incident that may have affected some of our customers.

What Happened

On 28th October 2025, we identified unauthorised access to part of our IT systems following a cyber-attack. We took immediate steps to secure our systems, contain the breach, and begin a full investigation with the support of specialist cybersecurity experts.

What Information Was Involved

Based on our current investigation, the information that may have been accessed includes both confidential & sensitive personal data.

What We Are Doing

We Have:

  • Reported the incident to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
  • Reported the incident to the FCA, Action Fraud & NCSC
  • Taken immediate steps to restore the integrity of our systems and monitoring
  • Engaged cybersecurity specialists to assist with the investigation

What You Can Do

We recommend that you:

  • Stay alert for suspicious emails or messages claiming to be from Thomas Exchange.
  • Avoid clicking on links or attachments in unsolicited messages.
  • Review your accounts regularly for any unusual activity.
